How it works

Go from measurements to a usable layout

The planner is designed to keep the setup straightforward while still accounting for the parts of a real room that can affect furniture placement.

1

Set up your room

Choose the room type and shape, then add accurate measurements for the space you want to plan.

2

Add fixed features

Mark doors, windows, chimney breasts, stairs, columns and other areas that affect the usable space.

3

Arrange furniture

Add furniture from the library or enter your own dimensions, then move and rotate items around the room.

4

Check your layout

Use layout warnings and the Layout Assistant to spot possible access, overlap and space-use issues.

Built for real rooms

Start with the shape that best matches your space

You can then add fixed features such as doors, windows, chimney breasts, stairs, columns, built-ins and restricted areas before placing furniture.
